About Us
Continental Lithium is a revenue-generating Nigerian mineral exploration and mining company, founded in 2017 by two visionary entrepreneurs who have personally invested over $12 million into the company.
Our mission is to become a fully integrated global supplier of lithium and rare earth elements to the EV, mobility, energy storage, and related markets, leveraging our position as the largest documented holder of lithium spodumene assets in Africa while maintaining industry leading ESG practices.
We are uniquely positioned to capitalize on the largely untapped Nigerian market, combining first-hand knowledge of local business practice and the national policy and regulatory scheme governing the lithium and rare earth metals mining sector in Nigeria with a seasoned team of American operators, industry specialists, and experienced geologists.
Our extensive tenements span approximately 152,000 acres across 26 licenses, with 15 of them located within the Nigerian Lithium Belt – a region known for hosting valuable and commercially needed mineral deposits. In comparison to U.S. publicly listed companies, Continental Lithium is believed to be among the largest landholders of ground prospective for exploration and development of lithium and other critical rare earth metals. We also wholly own three mineral/ore processing facilities strategically located in Nigeria, and all our properties have access to roads and are within an approximate 400-mile radius of seaports for shipment to purchasers.
In January 2023, Aurifer Resources completed a technical report summary for our Kwara-Oyo Lithium Project, highlighting its excellent exploration potential. With requisite funding, we plan to pursue exploration activities on our tenements, initially focusing on the Kwara-Oyo project, where we hold seven licenses.
As Continental Lithium prepares to list on a US national stock exchange, we remain focused on advancing our substantial ground holdings in preparation for large-scale mining development, with the goal of becoming a leading global supplier of lithium and rare earth elements.
